Its interesting and real eye opener of things to come unless Obamacare gets repealed. I lived in Japan for 7 years and they have the same socialist healthcare system. My releatives are Japanese and i got to see first hand how the system works and its the same. Very long waits (take a number) and it takes many months for appointments. You wait all day just to get a blood test. There is a doctor shortage and their emergency rooms are so full that many times ambulances are turned away (http://www.justlanded.com/english/Japan/Japan-Guide/Health/Emergencies) and told to try another hospitol., some people die in the process. The doctors are excellent and the medical equipment is up to date but the healthcare system is overloaded and is bankrupting the nation. My father in law was diagnosed with Lekumia and they said he had 6 months but ended up proving the doctors wrong and lived for just over a year. They told him because of his age that there was nothing they could do for him except give him blood transfusions. I think if he was in the states he would have had better care and maybe could have lived longer. There is healthcare rationing for sure in Japan.:sad-little:
