[QUOTE="IDoLessWorkThanMost, post: 405877, member: 12912"] I am normally 5'9 145. I worked at a customer counter 8 hours a day, after 5 years as a package handler, and gained almost 22 pounds (weighed 166.5 Thanksgiving 2007!). after going back to full-time clerical/package handler in May 2008, I've lost 19 pounds so far and am at 147! Gained 22 pounds in 1.5 years (Aug 2006 - May 2008) and lost 19 in 4 months (May 2008 - Sept 2008). Didn't necessarily "let myself go" by any means but gained quite a bit of weight from not at least working aerobically, burning cals/carbs and getting my heart rate up often enough. It's important to utilize your power zone, legs and hips and the general laws of physics and mass /acceleration! it's easy to get a good workout and shape up fast without your body breaking down if you apply good technique.
