Hello! New Driver with some questions!

Thanks for all the comments and help guys. I appreciate it, tomorrow is my first day driving a route, I got a copy of today's Drivers Manifest report and this truck has about 120 stops, a few big stops, one being wal mart, mostly 1-2 single house packages. a few apartment complexes in there.

Would it be stupid of me to go buy a mapbook?

Hi guys. This is my first week with UPS as a seasonal driver.

I was planning to keep looking for a steady job but my instructor today mentioned a lot of people that started off as seasonal drivers last year are now permanent. I remember being told it's very rare so I was surprised and asked him again. He confirmed that this was true.

Can this happen after 1-2 seasons? I want to know if it's possible or likely because it means whether or not I keep looking for another job.
