Our pension isn't a pension at all, it's a small annuity. A career package car driver is probably going to be at around 5k per month in real pension money. Has anyone mentioned you don't reach top scale at FedEx until you're age 85?

Depends on what part of the country you are from. It's not the same nation wide.

The problem withworking in the AM is you never know what time you'll get out. If you're trying to fill the rest of your day with something else you might find yourself constantly at odds with management trying to get you to stay and work a few more hours when they are in a jam.

On the flip side working the AM would be ideal for someone with a more flexible schedule.
