You can call me a non-hourly any time you desire.
I know the UPS first name basis tradition and policy.

But if Hoax came to my work area, I would call him sir.

It was the way I was raised.

Those that are senior or deserve respect due to position, I call them sir or ma'am.

shhh do not tell DS. I will never forget that as a Mod, I called him sir and he went ballistic.

Lol, thanks for raising this thread from the dead, Hoax'. I haven't read anything but this last page but I got a good laugh from Upstate's comment concerning rod's taking in 260lbs. :happy-very:

I'm with you on this, though mine is much more informal "yezzir" and "yezz'm." I actually say that to pretty much everyone I encounter, including those younger than me. It's just become second nature, I guess.
