They are hoping that you'll forget to take them if you don't have to code them. That way, Grinch Smith gets an extra 20 mins of free work from you.

Bingo.

It's true, we can take our paid breaks without having to code them. The problem is that your On Road clock doesn't stop so everyone ends up missing their goals by 3-5%. In the beginning our managers told us this wasn't the case but they obviously didn't know what they were talking about or they were lying. On the flip side, if you don't take your breaks during the day and complain about it to management you may get written up. Classic Catch-22.

Ding.ding.ding.

Employers are no longer required to make sure the breaks are taken. So FedEx doesn't.

According to our OSS person, 30 minute lunches and 2-10 minute paid breaks are built into the. If yours didn't put those. If yours didn't put them in, he/she should have.

We've had an engineer visit our station just once in the past year. Prior to that it's been years since we've seen one (pre-dating the change in coding our breaks). I have no doubts the lunch breaks were built into the goals. It was obvious that the 2 paid breaks were not when everyone started missing their goals by nearly the same percentage. They may have put them in by now. I don't really know since we haven't seen a sheet with our goals and how we are doing in months.

Sarcasm is not your strong suit.

Not necessarily. One day you could have 80 stops and the next day 90 and still have the same RTB time.

If you remember. SPH varied from day to day as well. Like I said. Doesn't matter what they call it. The measurement is the sam.
