MTV stopped teenagers from making their own stories in their mind.
MTV directed minds when it defined a song by a video.

don't mean to have 'tude...I think I feel ripped off.
I think MTV took someting from me - as I reflect back.
I can divide music into before and after MTV.
I can remember REO's Keep on Loving You and the image of the snake all coiled up and hissing or Styx's Babe when I stopped seeing Dave because he was mean to me. (Dave I'm leaving.....I must be on my way.)
I was a young teenager discovering music.

I was just a little kid during that time and I recall being confused by stuff I would see on the street.
I get sick when I hear stories of how men and women would come home...in uniform...to be be treated like..I can't come up with the adjective to correctly express the my feelings.
You guys are my heroes.
You make it possible for the WWII guys and gals to see their momument.
You make sure every returning soldier is respected.
