How much was your union initiation fee?

Yes the fee is large, but I really doubt anyone quits over a high initiation fee. Especially since new hires get a bonus, including me, and I've paid 6 weeks initiation. Im still bringing in a hair under 300 weekly because of bonus
Bonus's for select hubs is unfair.

What would you say the reason is that any non management employee would chose to go non union? Im actually curious not trying to start a riot.
As with any quasi- political organization:
1) disagreement with direction of the organization
2) some people are strong individualist
3) RTW - no need to ... Employee gets the same pay and benefits

Zero, I was part of the first time UPS Freight group. I think the current for our local is $500.00 with a $200.00 credit if you come to the new orientation class. So it would be $300.00 if you show up for 2 hours to learn a bit about our union.

I don't even remember paying an initiation fee to join Local 728 in the late 70's. I don't think part-timers should pay it myself.
