To anyone out there who would like to see his pictures and/or the updates that his mommy puts out on his facebook page, you can find him by typing in Matthew Beaudry. The page is specific for his updates, so it is open to the public. I was talking to my daughter earlier tonight, and she said someone from UPS had put well wishes on his page. (must have been you, johnoutdoors). She was tickled. I've been telling her, and the rest of our extended family, just how I happened to "fall into this forum" looking for a UPS truck for Matthew, and how everyone on here has "adopted" him almost as their own. I could hear the tears in her voice when she said "it's too much" "all these people pulling for Matthew and they don't even know him". I told her that I've felt the kindness of the people following this thread, and it helps to make my heart feel lighter, when I feel like crying. Or maybe it's knowing all the extra prayers that are being said for Matthew, just because God guided me to this site. We've never had something like this happen to us. There is so much negativity in the world, and believe me, as many of you already know, when someone you love has something like this happen.....it's very hard to look at the positive. But it is there, in other ways. I've always liked my UPS person to deliver my packages....but I've got to tell ya, one of these days, I may just grab him and hug him out of the blue. He doesn't know about Matthew. We live in northern Maine and Matthew lives in southern Mass. So imagine his surprise....guess I'd have to clue him in first. He'd think the "49 yr old lady" on his route has flipped her wig. But it feels good to have you all care so much. So anyway...Matthew has been doing quite well, with his recovery so far. He is still in the hospital on the pediatric oncology floor. He is getting stronger every day. The issue with his heart beating a little too slow and his pupils being unequal resolved quickly without any further problem. He still needs physical therapy to get him back to his pre-op condition and help his brain recovery. He is going to the O.R. Wednesday (later today) to get his porta-cath implanted. He is getting this special I.V. site put into his chest even though he is not expected to get I.V. chemotherapy. It will be so they can draw blood frequently without torturing him for his tiny veins. And to give I.V. fluids if he was to need them at times. He will keep this in for approximately a year. My daughter says if everything continues to go well, he may go home by the weekend. They are having a special meeting with all the doctors on Thursday to discuss his prognosis and the course of radiation and oral chemo he will get. Again sorry for such a long note, I will close for now and update again soon. I'm at work, and my supper break is done.

My heart to all. Lorrie

[QUOTE="Lorrie Theriault Corey, post: 846729, member: 35091"] Thanks johnoutdoors, we think he is quite adorable.....and I guess I've got to say.....everyone else seems to think so too.
