How would you quit UPS?

Yep I just want to show up work and in 25 years retire. Unfortunately ups isn't that simple.

I'm not a quitter by heart and would never leave anyone hanging. I'd try to give them at least a months notice.

I agree with you, I'm not a quitter, My goal is and always 25 and out....

First week of May usually sees a few high seniority departures each year .
Technically they use up all their vacation/sick day/ optional days together , so they officially on still on the books until mid June.

Well it isn't hard to quit, I will do it July 31st my boss knows it and I am counting down! Did I mention less than 3 months left? oooops 60 working days!

There does seem to be alot of people bailing out before July 31st.
So many people that it seems to be a little more than coincidence.
Why would a high seniority driver, making top wage, retire unless the vagueness and uncertainity (pension not guaranteed?) of the new contract causes concern?

Politely put in my two weeks, work just like any other day in those two weeks, pay my respects and walk out on the last day with my head held high.
