At our local drive in, a historical landmark and one of the oldest drive-ins remaining in the country. The "intermission" film reel he is playing dates from the 50's and is so worn out that the film has frames that are blotcthy and discolored. Last year the owner was able to crowdfund for an $80,000 digital projector that is compatible with new movie releases; otherwise he would have been forced to close.

Our Drive-in theater has been closed since the early 80's. Just 2 weeks ago strong straight line winds finally leveled the screen. No hope of it ever reopening now. Sad

No idea. When I looked up there were no birds in sight and when I got back to the truck there was another brand new stain on the passenger side windshield.
