I drink your milkshake! a metaphor for capitalism

Quite the opposite. He owned his own record company.
the typical relationship between capitalist employer and employee is no different than what prince describes below.

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/n...artists-record-contracts-are-slavery-20150809

"Record contracts are just like — I'm gonna say the word – slavery," Prince said. "I would tell any young artist... don't sign."

...
He also voiced his disapproval about how record labels turn artists into "indentured servitude," since the artists have little control or insight over how labels take their music and profit off it online

..."Once we have our own resources, we can provide what we need for ourselves," Prince said of why he chose to team with Tidal. "Jay Z spent $100 million of his own money to build his own service. We have to show support for artists who are trying to own things for themselves."

...
In 1993, when Prince and Warner Bros. were warring over his record contract, the rocker frequently appeared in public and onstage with "slave" scrawled on his cheek. Prince would soon change his name to "the Artist Formerly Known As" and "the Love Symbol" in an effort to "emancipate" himself "from the chains that bind me to Warner Bros."

u dont understand what i said

honestly I don't think you understand what I say. There are people that need help in our society. there are also many people that need to learn they can do much more to help thierselves. To lump them all as victims of what ever society you choose to blame is ridiculous.

I see people using their foodstamps to buy extravagant foods. If you need help to feed your family then you should take my tax dollar purchased independence card and use it wisely to buy as much food as you can. not high dollar foods like seafoods.

if you don't have a pot to piss in why would you go out and buy a top of the line Apple cell phone.

these examples I list are not exceptions you can easily find them in todays world.

You pointed out he needs to look for examples in the real world and his response was none of the sources he reads mentions it. He completely failed to understand your point and just fell back into his old circular argument.

i'm all for getting people off of wasteful welfare spending, although i dont recall being referenced to articles about it, so that kinda says to me it might be propaganda what your talking about. regarding welfare, i usually hear the story of how bill clinton gutted it, which primarily affected single women with children...

how about we get the banks off of welfare first? and cut the 1.6 trillion a year on empire.

the internet is just a different kind of reality, and i think im closer to the truth than you are.

making fun of welfare babies was a kind of backhanded racism that reagan a literal corporate mascot promoted. your government tells you a story and you eat it up. wake up

So instead you choose to only believe what the 2 or 3 people you constantly quote say.

WAKE UP!

well thats not true, and ill take 1 chris hedges or a noam chomsky over all the bone heads you quote who tell you to LOVE the NSA, LOVE the empire, LOVE the corporations, be afraid over the terrorists.

its alot of garbage

and some of it is so simple you can just think about it, be honest with yourself that your getting duped, and ask yourself whats really going on and why are they really telling me this?

to quote chris hedges: politics is a game of fear. we try and make our government / corporations afraid to get them to do what we want, and they try and make us afraid for the same reasons

It wasn't that long ago they were almost at equal periody.
But for some strange reason the dollar has strengthened.

Maybe the negative interest rates overseas?

Canadian workers have lost their motivation to succeed under socialism. So now they clutter up company themed message boards when they should be out earning a living.
