I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees. The op isn't asking for much, he just wants to work before the seasonal guys. That won't create as big of wave as what you think.

That's exactly how this company works. Just show up and keep a positive attitude, because that's one thing this job will suck right out of you.

Yep you have to forget about managements bull and just do the work right and go home. Management can right off. If there is ever a question about safety you say no and hold firm on it. Don't try to be a hero and run off a million stops a day, you cannot sustain that pace day in and day out for years on end. Work at your pace and be safe always.
