I work P/T on the local sort and P/T sup has been sending me home at 3 1/2 hrs while people w less seniority then me have been working 4 hrs. Can I file a grievance?

Sweeeet Thanks! I have another question. I am a local sort clerk and process address corrections and help customers ship out pkgs, then I usually help off load, fuel or park trucks. This week the international/air clerk is on vacation, so I was told I would be filling that job along w my other clerk job. I have been trained to do inter/air processing, but is it OK to do both jobs?

I talked with a few stewards at work and they helped me file a grievance. I thought even if I worked less hrs for 1 day then everyone else that I could still file, but they assured me it was weekly hrs and not daily hrs.

This is incorrect--it applies to daily hours, not weekly.

You can wait and see the total discrepancy for the week and file on that but you can also file on a individual day.
