Is this the "no riders" clause? So, if a customer stands....say out of the rain on the first step of your package car(while you scan or select)........you can be fired?

1) The words 'gravel pit' make sense to me. A pit full of gravel, ok. What the hell is a 'gravel pit' when it comes to a truck? Don't use phrases most people in your target audience won't understand. We aren't all truckers, or rednecks.
2) I can't figure out what he did wrong here. Was he taking multiple breaks? He was marking THIS down as a legitimate break... was he taking another break? What is it of UPS's business what an employee does on their break, as long as it doesn't violate the contract or 'company policy'?

Based on your posts, this thread is a good set of examples that seems to be needed by you.
"Young and stupid" is a common phrase used to describe the effects of inexperience and lack of judgment.

Please learn to stop and think or in 5 years, you could be an example.

Yep we had a driver that called in prob ten times a month. Had dr notes and all she got fired and really all she had to say at panel was I'll show up to work no matter what. She pretty just stood there like union get my job back for me.

We had an morning OMS that was given the option to resign or be fired. She thought she could ship an NDA without paying for it. Put it in house mail to another center. That was stupid enough but the really stupid part was the another center was about an hour away. She could have driven it over there faster. There was not a driver among us that was not delighted to see her gone. She was a C.

You are absolutely right. If not for this thread, I too could be caught having sex in my package car (or semi tractor) sometime in the future. I will learn to be more careful! Maybe I will have a secret trap door installed, where the hooker could escape into a sewer below.
