This debate has been going on a long time,and
ultimately I`d have to agree with Mr Zappa that
government intervention in the lyrical content of
music is against the principles of our right to free
speech.Even though I may not like 50 cent or any
of the new rap music on the market today,I have
the choice of not buying it or not listening to any
radio stations that play it.You may be able to control
what your own kids listen to in your own home,but that
ends the moment they walk out the door,and in the end,
they have the right to listen to whatever they like.
Even if you dont like it.
