Anyone can register here and get immediate access to post on the forum and upload pics to an album. The biggest inconvenience for newbies is that all of their posted images and links are filtered into the moderator queue because they have to be approved by a mod before displaying on the public forum.

Could you "newbies" please explain which forum functions you are seeking to use that you don't have access to?

I don't know about them, but I did have a problem the other day uploading pictures through the "manage attachments" feature. I believe it might have been more operator issues than your system.
The issue I had was when I uploaded a picture the swirly thing in the top right corner kept swirling, never completing the upload. I am sure my technical prowess is amazing, but I don't know the actual terms to use.
(I really have no idea what I am talking about, as I am still learning how this all works. If I spent more time trying out the features than just plain posting, I might learn faster. It isn't a priority, though.)

As I said, I am sure it was my ineptitude. I kinda enjoy being dewy-eyed, sometimes.

Yes I can post ok which is good.I noticed that everyone has pictures under their name ( love yours) in trying to go into settings I keep getting error messages that tell me that I don't have any rights. It's ok I guess. Like you said I can post. I thought it might be fun to try some of the other option here.

It took me forever to figure out how to do new things on here, but most of that is my ineptitude, as I have never posted on a website before. To change your pics. go into settings at the top of the page, not profile. Edit avatar or edit profile pic. The drag and drop feature has been fixed, I think. It might take time to figure out all the tricks, but I think you will get there. Just give us a chance here. The site is just getting over a severe bout of porn posters who flooded the site with a ton of crap. So, people are hesitant to trust right now. You seem to be hanging in there, though.

P.S. Your moniker, "pheryl", might be a little off-putting to some as it very closely resembles the name of the administrator.
Not saying its bad, just the timing appeared off. No offense meant.

The settings on your account are typical for a member that hasn't posted very often or has recently registered. Due to recent activities (porn images, posted links redirecting to porn sites, pm spamming etc.) our forum has a few restrictions on pm's, links, bb code and images for unproven members.

This site runs with the understanding that to freely post on this site you are bound by your honor to observe our House Rules and Terms of Service and will therefore not abuse the trust placed in you. Our intention is to maintain a fair and reasonable forum and facilitate legitimate, reasoned debate about the issues raised.

You do not yet have level of participation on our site to have earned the privilege of posting images, bbcode or links directly to the public forum without moderator approval.
