You must not have morons like this guy EE who's is quoted on the TDU website saying our health care is 80-20 when anyone can call the back of their insurance card and verify it is much better! Everyone knows the insurance company is obligated by law to tell the truth. Apparently the poster boy for Z does not know how to find a doctor in his network but thinks he can debate a BA. SMH!

there are areas where this is accurate. chiropractic, rehabilitation, speech therapy & medical equipment were paid at 90% under the old plan, now Teamcare pays only 80%. additionally, hospice (inpatient & outpatient) were covered at 100% on the old plan, now Teamcare pays only 80% and doesn't cover outpatient private duty nursing at all (was 100% covered up to 560 hours/yr on old plan). mental health services were 100% covered before, now 80% with many limitations. now add in the deductible that starts in 2018 and we're even farther in the hole.

all in all, we took major concessions on healthcare while the company continues to break records with their earnings. this is why there needs to be a change in how our contract is negotiated. whether this is through a change in leadership, or a push from the members to demand less concessions, it must be done.
