Your getting closer to reality moreluck, but lets examine your posts. From 2000 to 2009 when Bush left office, his increase in unemployment was ........3.8% increase or a loss of over 10 million jobs in 8 years. Obama starts at 7.8% in february 1 2009 and in one year, during the deepest recession in history, goes to 10.2%. After stimulus and bank savings, wall street savings and home savings programs, unemployment fell to 8.8 %. In Nov. 2010, the republicans take the house and push for extentions of the bush tax cuts for two years at a cost to the deficit of 900 billion dollars and WHAMMO! Unemployment shoots back up to 9.2%. The current rate of unemployment under Obama is at 9.2%, (and if youre going to try and put all the people who stopped looking for jobs, then you have to do the same for BUSH and that takes him to 11% using the same calculations) SO DONT TRY IT. Now, lets give you the 9.2% currently and substract where OBAMA started from . 9.2% -7.8% 1.4% rate of increase in three years time. So comparing BUSH's 8 years at a 3.8% increase in unemployment to OBAMA's 3 year record, its clear that OBAMA has not come close to the increase of GW BUSH. Now, lets divide BUSH's 3.8% by 3 !! 3.8% / 3 = 1.2666 every three years. So, consistent with BUSH's performance and starting in BUSH's recession, OBAMAs average is about equal to BUSH's record and NOT WORSE as your party, foxed spews and right wing radio would like to suggest. The real difference is that BUSH increased the unemployment record in a GOOD ECONOMY starting in the black and a nation working and prospering, whereas OBAMA has had to start in BUSH's hole and dig his way out just to see daylight. Give the guy some credit. BUSH dug a ginormous hole into the ground and buried the USA in it, OBAMA is starting to get us to ground level and YOU, your party, your supporters, your candidates and your ideology is making it harder by trying to make the hole deeper. Thank you for the stats, as I said, your getting close to the truth everyday! "He's black, get over it" Peace.
