Here is Mass, you don't lose seniority if you transfer to another building if they are under the same local. And you don't need an educational transfer either. I have no idea how it works elsewhere, but it might be similar.

I would be more worries about a union rep not doing his job. If your rep doesn't care about you now, why would he when you are full time? As far as seniority and transfers, it varies stat to state and local to local. Watertown has a 7-10 yr wait for full time, while Syracuse has a 10-15 yr wait. With the new pension rules, full time is going to take that much longer. Don't worry about another building, I'm sure enough :censored2: is going on in yours. We need to stick together.

Got my 3rd year article 22 job and I'm happy
Also depends on if your a hub or center to..
