Late Planes Today?

Saw the Express guy heading out to start delivering at around noon. Usually starts in the area around 1030. You guys get a late dispatch today?

I did my area in reverse today, to keep the people on their toes and so it would take me longer. It worked.

More like all year. Everybody's dumbfounded when our freight is on time.

We left the building around 9:00. 1 of our Memphis planes never left the ground (rolled to Friday), crew ran out of hours.

Our planes were about 30 minutes late, which was about how much later the MEMH sort went down and was planned. They were also late by 15 or 20 minutes on Tuesday. Otherwise we had our freight on time for the rest of the month.

We had a truck on Tuesday that didn't get to our building until about 10:30. They didn't have enough bodies at the ramp to process the freight. Lol. First stop that day was 12:00.

I think so. Actually not FedEx directly. They pay someone else to take it the rest of the way.

Had that happen with a package to alaska. Sent It through the Post Office. When I shipped it,the slip said alternate delivery method...lol

Yep. That's why it's much more expensive. FedEx can't make money if they're paying someone else to deliver it.

A college project. To some remote village In Alaska. Thats what the teachers,asked for. They should have sent harmonicas,much cheaper!..lol
