The company also claimed that rising health care costs were a big concern.</span></span></span></p><p><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica'">However, the National Negotiating Committee countered by presenting proposals to address 9.5 concerns, dispatch times, backfilling jobs and limiting the use of technology for disciplinary purposes. Negotiations continued in Washington, D.C. this week.</span></span></span></p><p><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica'">Negotiations are currently focused on working conditions, work rules, harassment and safety. After these issues are addressed, negotiations will then turn to economic issues including pensions, health care and wages.</span></span></span></p><p><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica'">The UPS contract is the largest collective bargaining agreement in the country. The UPS and UPS Freight contracts cover about 250,000 Teamsters.
