"People who are psychologically addicted to marijuana tend to let it define all of their activities. Instead of going to see a movie, they need to get high and go to the movie. Instead of going dancing at a club, they need to get high and then go dancing. And so on. Marijuana use tends to define all of their activities. The reason that marijuana is addictive is because people use it to medicate their feelings. This means that they will turn to their drug in order to avoid having to feel uncomfortable. This essentially stunts emotional growth because the person is not learning how to deal with life, deal with new situations, and learning to process their feelings in a healthy way. Instead, they simply medicate with marijuana every time they face a new issue in their life. I hope this helps to answer the big question today is marijuana addictive.
Marijuana is not an innocent substance. When taken, it instantly transforms a person's mood, in a similar way that alcohol can completely transport a person into a new dimension. In other words, you can be feeling happy, sad, discouraged, upset, angry, or any number of different emotions, but this can all be completely erased by smoking marijuana. The drug can get you so high, so quickly, that any emotional issues you might have been dealing with have been temporarily forgotten."

"At least cannabis isn't addicting." (dido)

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

"Even though the physiological effects of cannabis withdrawal are generally mild, it is not correct to conclude that marijuana is not addictive, because being addicted to something is more than simply being physically dependent on a drug and experiencing physiological effects if the drug is stopped suddenly. “Addiction” refers to behaviors that are compulsive, partially out of control or worse, and often escalating in severity and intensity."

The one thing that sucks about being an Oregonian...is having to share a border with California.

Ideally, the northern rural counties would secede and form their own state instead of having decisions made for them by a bunch of elitist, big-city nanny-state liberals from Frisco and LA.

Good luck with that

What is U.S. electricity generation by energy source?

In 2020, about 4,007 billion kilowatthours (kWh) (or about 4.01 trillion kWh) of electricity were generated at utility-scale electricity generation facilities in the United States.1 About 61% of this electricity generation was from fossil fuels—coal, natural gas, petroleum, and other gases. About 20% was from nuclear energy, and about 20% was from renewable energy sources.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration estimates that an additional 42 billion kWh of electricity generation was from small-scale solar photovoltaic systems in 2020.2
