Or just maybe....millions of taxpayer dollars spent annually on more "gun control" would once again, prove to be money better spent towards annual mental health research?

Naaaa! Silly me. Continue as you were....willfully clueless.

My gawd there's a reliable source especially these days, the WH. As for the name calling, hey if the shoe fits.....

Speaking of clueless, who could possibly draw a valid analogy between a bulldozer and guns? Yep, nearly every home has 3 or 4 bulldozers fueled and ready to defend America.

P.S. the 'tard' suffix is actually quite offensive, can you come up with something more creative?

Again if the shoe fits you should be offended. Good! And the analogy is just as preposterous as banning guns from people who obey the hundreds of laws on the books that aren't enforced. Your own liberal logic is glaring at you....and it pisses you off.

    And P.S.

I appreciate the call for civility, and apologize for the offensive term. If I could delete it from my handheld right now I would, so later today I will.

For some reason not all of the posts reflected the thread name change, including the one in which you told us you changed the thread title.

Must have been a riveting and meaningful title as I don't even recall it's previous incarnation. Say you changed it? Still not riveting or meaningful!

Would conservatives want to ban bulldozers if they could be convinced (probably not hard to do either) that bulldozers are used by illegal aliens and are owned by muslim construction companies? Seems to me you'd have to change the title again.

Reminds me of the cow analogy:

You have two cows, both of which are sick and not producing as much milk as they should.
Democrats - Inform people that nothing is wrong and if there was something wrong, milk production is a very complex process not fixable by simple solutions.
    Raise the price of milk.

Republicans - Attempt to restructure society so that communists, socialists, and other non cow owners cannot purchase cows. Remind people that in the good old days, the cows weren't sick.
    Raise the price of milk.

Tea Party - Stop feeding the cows.

Socialist - If you can find one, ask them.

    Communist - See socialist.

I just don't understand. Don't we need these bulldozers for construction jobs and clearing fields?? You guys must be rich to have 3 or 4 bulldozers with fuel
In them. I can't even afford fuel in my own car. Looks like I'll be defending America with my cans of pork n beans

Re: :censored2:s Should Ban All Bulldozers

One could kill another person with a pen-knife...we don't ban knives.

One could kill another person with a pencil...we don't ban pencils.

    One could infinitum.

By past results, the last assault weapons ban didn't do all that much to curb gun deaths, so I don't see much point in trying to reenact some version of the same thing which wasn't effective.

What does bum me out though is after all the hyperbole on both sides, after repeated tragedies, the best the government can come up with is:

Absolutely nothing. (which actually makes sense, our government is 110% dysfunctional, GET THE MONEY OUT OF IT!)

The people are so divided, the government can't stop playing political games, and we'll continue to have mass shootings, guaranteed.

So we either accept the fact that it's going to happen again and again (like the Marathon Bombing), or we could try and do something to address the issue.

Unfortunately, lobbyists have worked it into legislation somehow that gun-violence statistics cannot be disclosed by the ATF, etc.

WTF? We can't even have a rational discussion about what's going on, because somehow it's not legal to dissect the numbers.

How does that help? (unless it's only to help someone's bottom-line...)

Democrats are screaming about 'assault' rifles, yet it's regular hand-guns that cause the most deaths.

Republicans are screaming about the 2nd Amendment, are you in a well organized militia?

Both Democrats and Republicans are off their rocker on this issue.

And no, we shouldn't ban door-locks because that Freak-a-zoid held three women hostage...

At this point I just accept that periodic mass shootings are part of our culture.

We should also accept that small-scale terrorist events are the norm as well.

Really, no way to stop them.

It's senseless to keep electing more and more people that feed us the same bs about America and Freedom and hope and prosperity, only to find out that their version of that is to regulate us to death.

They sell what the founders fought and died for, we buy it, but they hand us something completely opposite. And we turn around and defend them like kool aid drinking apologists.
