The innocent?

As long as they are consenting people of legal age then they can be as obsessed as they want. Individuals who are happily married with vibrant sexual relationships can have a problem with nosy busy bodies in society sticking their nose into the kinky stuff they're into.

Not everyone thinks a wild night with the wife is doing it through a hole in the sheet.

This is just a discussion on an online forum. Some of you people who frequent these forums have no clue how to discuss. Just attack and attempt to bully and those are the clowns that call others trolls.

You are awfully defensive. How am I attacking/bullying you? If it bothers you so much, why not actually act on it. Also, technically this is not a discussion.

Discussion-the action or process of talking about something, typically in order to reach a decision or to exchange ideas.

I do have to ask, "why do you respond to all these post that are off-topic"...rather than looking for and responding to a legitimate post.

Someone who may be more offended and troubled or a recovering sex addict will probably address this issue sometime.

I was just intrigued with the idea of hashing this UPS related discussion out on this sub-forum at this time.

I am not a moderator, I try to respond to most of the comments directed at me on discussion thread that I start.

If I were a moderator I probably would delete most of the off topic, foolish, attacking and bullying replies in posts.

Unfortunately that would probably give a lot of the regulars no reason to come to the Brown Café any longer.

For Discussion:

Walking through a facility I had to use the restroom so I was walking through a locker room to get to the area with the urinals and I was a bit surprised at what I saw.

Some drivers were getting ready and several of them had their locker doors wide open and I was troubled by what I couldn't help but notice on their locker doors.

There were varying degrees of obscene pictures hanging on their open locker doors in plain view of anyone who might be using the restroom at that particular moment, such as myself.

This I would say is probably a practice that should be banned. I know I'll probably get a bit of heat for this but the fact that these locker rooms are not really private places and I think the company should error on the side of caution.

I was not super shocked but I think depending on what is hanging, there could be someone who may be seriously offended by having to be exposed to something like this.

Recovery means living life on life's terms.

As a recovering alcoholic, should I have the right to demand that the grocery store I shop at quit selling beer? Should I have the right to demand that the people around me not read newspapers or magazines that have visible beer advertisements?

Living life on life's terms means learning ro cope with being exposed on a daily basis to unhealthy temptations and to things that I might find offensive or immoral. I do not feel that I have the right to require everyone else in the world to modify their behavior on my account. If I am secure in my recovery and in my own moral opinions regarding alcohol or pornography, the choices that other people make are not a threat to my well-being.

Let me explain why your reasoning is faulty.

While images and alcoholic related material can be triggers to alcoholic relapse and part of the relapse process, it is the ingestion of alcohol that indicates true physical relapse has begun.

The first drink.

You have a right to abstain from alcohol, you have a right to ask alcohol not to be used in cooking in restaurants, you have a right to not have someone force you to consume the first drink.

It is common knowledge in recovery circles that abstaining from viewing pornography and obscene images is part of the sexually addicts recovery.

Posting pornography and or obscene images on the locker room wall, which is what the door becomes when open, is wrongfully exposing any recovering sexual addict that may be in the wrong place at the wrong time to the first drink of the sexual addict.

This is wrong.

It is just as wrong as if someone wrongfully exposed the recovering alcoholic to the first drink.

I was just going to not comment on this thread, because well, I don't care about nudey pictures, or I plowing his wife (although 407's silver has raised some eyebrows), but that comment kind of pissed me off.
