I'm so obsessed with my job I pretend I'm still doing it on the weekends out of my personal vehicle and with no actual packages. Sometimes with my wife or one of my kids as a helper. Also with no actual packages. Just pantomiming.

I love it when my wife wants to be my helper, she does not find it so amusing when I stomp the gas just as she gets one foot on the vehicle. Keep telling her to tuck and roll..."tuck and roll baby tuck and roll baby!"

Wife and I don't have a free weekend until after November. Weddings bdays vacation and lots of football.

God, it seems like a daily occurrence that we went through the whole weddings and other crap phase. Like everyone we knew had gotten married, had bachelor parties, christenings, and whatever else required our appearance.

To be the man, you gotta beat the man.
I bowled for quite a few years on various leagues but not so much anymore. I don't know of too many candlepin centers anymore and now just don't have the time to be in a league. Poker....well I don't want to talk about that...played professionally when I lived in Vegas. Should have stayed, I hate the weather here but playing was just like a job...8-14 hours in a casino. Good days, bad days, 5-7 days a week.
Yea, me and a buddy of mine, who is a feeder driver as well, played all of the time. I played in quite a few tournaments, and we ended up getting pretty good. I ended up slowing down, I play maybe once a month, and he still goes at it pretty hard. He honestly could be a pro, we discussed going pro several years ago but honestly we loved it to much. We didn't want it to be a job, we wanted to do it and have fun. I play cash games now, and he still does tournies but I am sort of glad I don't play as much, people don't realize how exhausting it is.

Gone Fish'n
I do all the crap I can't do during the week hanging with the family, lawn work, groceries, washing vehicles, fishing occasionally, doing long workouts, fixing stuff around the house, and doing these things with members of the family. By Sunday I'm finished with most tasks and ready to start my other job.

Already missed one wedding because of a home football game. All of our friends should know better. If the university of Missouri has a home football game we will not be attending any other events that weekend.

Love to bowl. Use to go 2-3 nights a week after work. League over at 9 and a couple nights games were 99 cents. Own shoes and a ball and you can't beat that.

Problem is I'm still a little young. Most of my friends think it's lame. And it got to where $20 all you can bowl was the only "deal" they had.

If I had time I would be in a dart league in a heart beat. I only have 1 friend who will willingly play me and honestly it's not fun playing people when you beat them real bad.

I used to fish a lot. My FIL left me his woodworking tools when he passed away. I got into that. Now that I retired, I have been doing as little as possible, but I will get back into it. I made about 20 of these coolers out of old fence pickets. Sold them as fast I could make them. Haha they helped pay for my daughter's wedding.

Retired 22 years
I refuse to let myself get bored. My wife can sit around the house and stare out the window all day long but that isn't for me. I jump on the motorcycle or atv, grab the fishing boat,or fire up a chainsaw--anything but sitting around picking my nose. We had a major wind storm go through last week which blew down about 50 trees on my property so I can stay busy cleaning up that mess. Also being that I work for the local township I can clean up the remainder of the trees that had blown over into the ditches any time I want. I try to do at least one of those a day. All that involves is cutting them up and throwing the branches and saw logs back onto peoples property. Its going to be a good year for those who are looking for cheap or free firewood.

Ahh, the dilemma of retirement. Must really suck trying to decide to go for a ride or drag the ol' fishing boat out. I've still got a few years until I retire but mark my words, when I do, I won't make those tough decisions...I'm buying a bike that has a hitch AND can tow a boat!

I still have little kids so whatever they have on deck is what we work around. Softball and soccer on the weekends for us. And the occasional trip to Hersheypark to ride some roller coasters.

I used to love going Hershey. Do they still call it Lake Compounce?

My mistake, you're talking about the Pennsylvania Hershey...you are correct, I was thinking about the one in Bristol. I went to a club MTV concert there and Mili Vanilli got caught lip synching that day!

I didn't know Herhseypark could be confused with any other place. LOL. It's the sweetest place on earth. ;)

That’s Craptacular
I like to go walking in a local state park I do volunteer work at. I mowed the grass, cut up a tree, and took down my vegetable garden yesterday. Today after church, I bottled up some Oktoberfest home brew, it will be ready in two or three weeks.
I expect a bottle in the mail, Scratch ;)
