If you hit a $300 million Powerball lottery, what are the first three things you would buy and/or do with some of the money?

I would:
1. Quit my job
2. Buy a cottage on water
3. Travel

Gotta go with Brownslave on this one. I'd much rather be rich and anonymous than rich and famous. With the addition of the "Officespace" approach to my departure time. Let my pension money go to my union brothers who are getting screwed.

I'm not sure I would want my kids knowing I won the lottery.

A recent study showed over 90% of millionaires have all their money blown before it gets passed their grand kids.

A recent Rockefeller family reunion. Yes that Rockefeller the one that in today's money was worth more than anyone alive now. Hundreds of billions.

Well over a 100 family members and not a one was even a millionaire.
