I bought them cleaned. I brought it to a boil then let it simmer for about an hour till it was tender enough to stab with a fork.

M.N. isn't a trustee, he's the recording secretary. M.N. is one of, if not the most, ethical people I have ever known. If there was anything nefarious going on he would have addressed it long ago. So, with these basic facts wrong you can pretty much apply that to the rest of this nonsense.
