Well...not really. One could avoid traffic headaches in the air and on the gound by just going around Chicago. And from my true NFL Heart... I would never suggest bypassing Chicago. Every NFL national broadcasted game which is played in Green Bay, WI, the NFL Fan is drilled with listening to th "Storied History of Lambeau Field." Green Bay, WI - Yes..I agree it is a great place to play and a must see on any NFL fan's Bucket List. Never, ever, bypass the MEN of the Chicago Bears. Gale Sayers - 1971 I Am Third is the memoir of Gale Sayers, one of the best running backs in the history of the NCAA and pro football. It is also the story of his friendship with Brian Piccolo. Known also as a community leader and great friend to all, Sayers's credo is, "The Lord is first, my friends are second, and I am third." "You flatter me by giving me this award, but I’ll tell you here and now that I accept it for Brian Piccolo. Brian Piccolo is the man of courage who should receive the George S. Halas Award. I accept it tonight, but I’ll present it to Brian tomorrow. I love Brian Piccolo. And I’d like all of you to love him, too. And tonight, when you hit your knees, ask God to love him, too." - Gale Sayers Me - Brian's Song meant the world to me. I told my mother I wanted read Gayle Sayers' book ("I am Third"). Try being an eight year old white girl asking for a book written by a black man 1971. The public library didn't have it. My mom found a copy and I still have it. The song "Brian's Song" which never has left my mind. This is also the first time I ever saw my Daddy cry... The MEN of the Chicago Bears. I am crying right now and I will finish this post later with Sweetness, Walter Payton.
