The UPS rehire policy was changed a few years ago to allow for the rehiring of former management employees.

There is no written policy that prohibits the rehire of a former management person into an hourly position, although I have never seen it done with a former full time management person. There is no union contract language that I am aware of that prohibits it as long as the person is treated as an off the street hire.

The only person you will get a definite and accurate answer from is the HR manager in your district. It is more of a UPS policy question than a union contract issue.
