[QUOTE="soberups, post: 1313445, member: 14668"] I am a recovering alcoholic with 17 yrs of sobriety and it has been about 20 years since I have smoked pot. Despite that fact, if I wanted to score a $25 bag of weed it would take me less than half an hour to find someone to sell it to me. There are at least 10 licensed medical grow operations on my route and many others who grow it for recreational use. Marijuana was decriminalized in Oregon over 40 years ago; posession of less than an ounce is a civil infraction, like a parking ticket, with a small fine. The time is long overdue for our federal government to pull its head out of its ass, leave its citizens alone, and stop trying to outlaw a freaking plant. There are better uses for our tax dollars.
