Why would the ministry ask for donations if they truly believed the world was about to end????

OK, I know this died out, at least to another biblical mathematician takes his/her crack at bible code, but I stumbled across this video and it's good on 2 levels. First from a christain POV, they win because they get heaven, pearly gates, full access vacation resort and then atheists from their POV get a world free of god and his believers. So everyone's happy.

So this video takes an atheist POV and looks ahead after the rapture but then at 1:25 minute mark, the "Camping Reality" hits home and sorry, but it is funny!
