And one other thing there rank&filer, if the dems are the protector from the Barbarians at the Gate, then why do I go to a liberal website like Counterpunch and find the following headlines for the same piece? Democrats Okay Funds for Covert Ops? Hmmmmm. Here's the entire article and the only thing Cockburn IMO failed to do was give more details on what the dems did but I realize it's hard to condem your own kind so to speak. https://web.archive.org/web/20110804234255/http://www.counterpunch.org/andrew05022008.html Covert Actions! Iran! Dems. okay funding! Dems. control both houses of Congress. All issues of spending and taxation according to Article 1 of the US Constitution so the Congress has the ultimate say so at least constitutionally speaking so again, tell me how the dems really are any better? How would you defend Hillary who's all but said she'll use the big bomb in a case where no direct threat to the US is made when we refused to take such action at Tora Bora when a possible case IMO could (SHOULD) have been made? I'd put a mushroom cloud in those caves so fast it'd make your head spin! Republicans have been an utter failure to what they said in 1994' but the dems IMHO have failed as a true check and balance so why should I trust them more with the White House now?
