About ready to "Adjust" the new AIS with a hammer yet? More bugs than some 2 week old roadkill.

How many cars are most of you guys running on your fleet?

I have about 40 assigned to me.

Way down from the 100-some assigned to me back when I was the only official mechanic at my center for 6 months or more. Can't remember exactly. Those days were a blur.

It was around 60 for a while then they hired some more mechanics, now im running around 40.

Yikes! We have 4 guys for about 120 cars

I have 64, they say maybe add another mechanic in the future. They been saying that for the past 16 years..... Any one have propane cars in there fleet?

If I had that many I'd make as much as a feeder driver.

I think I got about 34 or so last check.

That being said about 15 of them are VTs.

We were part of the great vt consolidation. Only had 4 of them now I'd say we have about 12. If they are pushing 40+ cars on guys, I bet when our next guy retires next year he won't be replaced

We have 140 cars, 4 mechs, so 35 cars a piece. But we always seem to be covering or helping other centers. Guys go out hurt or they just take their time replacing retirees. No matter what, I still do 8 hours. I have 5 VTs, no propane vehicles.

I still use the old AIS for my work schedule or when Im in a hurry.

I got 3 vt's, we were part of that debacle as well (moving vt's into our center).

Still waiting for some stuff to pressurize the ICP system to find the leaks on the VTs. Notorious for leaks that make them shutdown or not start when hot.

Its going to happen, but I appreciate all the extensions added to the date.

Some of the guys here can't even use the open repairs in the new AIS. It doesn't print warranty labels either. It's a mess.

It does that to me from time to time. Or I can't get to my work schedule.
