I often wondered since Abraham was from Ur, located in modern day Iraq, that maybe he was descended from Indo-European lineage.
The Jewish tribes seem to mix in very well undetected with the other tribes, races, etc. in the Middle East so that is strong evidence that they were very similar, if not identical, to their neighbors.
