"In the movies" only happens in the movies. :wink2:

Even though it is a broken record, I like the image.

    That's fake!!!! Right?
  5. What's funny is we are supposed to be some sort of "green" company now. We already know how much green is wasted on management salaries. I can't even imagine how much paper is wasted everyday at UPS because of the focus on meaningless data and numbers.

The only way that we are able to fight it, is by filing over 9.5 grievances. Enough are filing in our center to make it almost impossible to raise the average stop count. The key for us, was getting rural guys to file.

See the 1932 horror flick "White Zombie" in which Bela Lugosi (as the sinister "Murder" Legendre) runs a mill in Haiti using Voodoo mind control on his workforce of zombies; using The Methods to achieve The Metrics.

He also turns Madeleine into a zombie, but that doesn't turn out so well either.

Sounds like my ex-wife. THAT didn't turn out too well, either.

I am sooooo tempted to print that image out and hang in up on the center door.

Met-trick should be the proper spelling.
My center tries to trick the trickster daily.
In true business terms, metric is a quantifier, not a qualifier.
Our quality will lack from this approach.

I qualify that my statement is my opinion, solely.
In no way, shape or fashion does it reflect the position of the administrator's,owner's, and or any other involved parties, within the confines of Brown Cafe.
