I wish these scientific dudes would get their acts together.

I don't know where they are getting that info as they don't provide any links in the article and they don't credit any of the graphs they use. They mentioned NASA so I checked over there and they tell a decidedly different story.

The largest skating rink in the world isn't even frozen yet (in Canada). First time in history.
Looks like that river (canal) can't be used this year for skating.

As for Edmonton, I think it's plus 6C today, could be another record breaker. Over night lows (being mild), are already daily record breaking, 1 after the other.

Our landscapers/snow removal people (yes they do both jobs) are out of work !

I'm confused--I'm watching the All-Star game and they showed people skating on the canal.

Maybe, they got lucky, because of as 2 weeks ago, it still wasn't frozen.
Can't follow the local news now as much.

I know they finally got the cold spell, last week.

Normally it's a huge Christmas tradition, and people couldn't skate on it this year.
