What are everybody's guesses on the MIPS factor? Has your guess changed since the most recent announcement on 4th quarter earnings and 2015 guidance?

Abney repeatedly stated how important we (people) are and we responded by doing everything asked of us throughout the year and during peak. I predict average.

No kidding - I was expecting it 2 hours ago. You're over allowed Corp

I'm guessing 65 With the lowered earnings results. Total guess, would love to be wrong.

What stock price will be used to calculate the number of shares we'll get for the stock portion of the award?

Actually, stock price used will be today's closing price.

Your salary on 12/1/14 is what is used for the calculation.

So if the factor is 70% & you make $5000/month with $10,000 in UPS Stock (not counting 401k holdings):

Performance Incentive Award = Annualized salary as of 12/1/14 ($60,000) x Your Performance Incentive Target (17% for a supervisor) x MIP factor (70%) = $7,140

Ownership Incentive Award = Value of Your UPS Holdings as of 12/31/14 ($10,000) x Your Ownership Incentive Target (3.50% for a supervisor supervisor) = $350

    MIP Award = $7140 + $350 = $7490

Half will be awarded via your selection (cash, 401k, stock) & deposit on Fri 3/6 (minus taxes). The other half will vest 20% at a time over a five year period.

Just heard 80%. Nothing official announced, though.

Where is it documented that today's closing price is used?

Good question - Dec 1 is the "date of record " which is where I got confused. I was just looking through the faqs and didn't see anything about the price assignment date

It is called "management incentive program". UPS just loves their three letter designations, thinking there is a executive in Atlanta that has a job just creating them.
