It's that time of year.....what will the MIP factor be????
Probably something lowball..... and you'll blame it on high union wages.
Whatever they want it to be...no formula anymore.
No ERI this year to provide input like last year.
Poor economy means less packages shipped.
MIP payout is cash that we may need next year.
Wall St. analysts have never liked the MIP anyway.
Trying to reduce headcount for 2009.
I'm figuring my W-2 will be less for 2008 than for 2007.
Good deal...less taxes paid! That is good, right?
I learn somthimg new on this once in a while whats mip?
Management Incentive Plan
Use to be purely in the form of stock (before we went public).
It has changed since then but you can still elect to get in form of stock. I am electing stock this year myself.
might even be at $40 by then
That would be nice!
Price of stock doesn't matter unless you are buying or selling...I would be buying at $40.
no I wouldn't do that the money is still there. I would blame it on some ambigous system with ambigous measurement.
Is that the same system that establishes our planned dispatches or would that be a different ambiguous system with ambiguous measurement?
My guess is 1.25! Yada yada yada poor economy & increase in operational costs.
As of July, all elements were below target with the exception of service.
I think that things have gotten worse from there.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a 1.0 MIP... 1.5 would be a nice surprise.
Correct me if I am wrong, but when the new plan came out (rsu's) their was a min. (1.8) and max. (2.4). anyone ????
I read through the prospectus, and could find no mention of a minimum or maximum.
You may be thinking about the ownership incentive??
No, that system is not ambiguous.
For the sake of the company I hope it's 1.2 or better.
Its good to know corporate blows smoke at its managers and hourlies in an equal and unbiased manner.
If I happen to own stock at the time of the proxy vote, I'm voting no for MIP.
I'm sure that have an affect. Even a less impact than your vote for President.
lol. maybe it's not ambiguous if your center has had time studies within the last 20 years.
I would be surprised to see anything higher than 1.2.............
Indeed they do. Corporate has mastered the art.
Separate names with a comma.
