You still can't understand the government has no money. All it can do is spend other people's money. If you are so interested in helping the homeless start by donating some of your own money.

the government can print money. omg thats oligarch funded rhetoric.

and the government can get money from whatever or whomever it so chooses, and i suggest it tax rich and corporations because they are most able to pay.

You really need to take a course in economics.

anyone who has a clue knows that most economics courses are restricted to the neo classical discipline of it. its not a balanced way of learning. if u want to learn something u better make sure you got a good professor, or that you learn outside of tradition school.

Saying "anyone knows" indicates a lack of knowledge. So where did you learn your expertise then? From watching socialist videos on Youtube?

well if u knew u wouldnt have said that. i mean what do you think happened to american economics discipline after the second red scare? it was taboo.

i listened to 1 socialist yale / harvard / stanford graduated professor's radio program for 2 years richard d wolff. also listened to gar alperovitz, jeff faux, max keiser, boom bust, zero hedge, chris hedges, chomsky, ralph nader, stiglitz also provide commentary and some of them are socialists so u better call homeland security becuase we are trying to get rid of our bosses and capitalists and control the workplace ourselves lol.

"Similarly, consumers might prefer decent mass transportation to a choice between two automobiles, but that option is not provided by advertisers -- indeed, by markets. Ads on TV do not provide information about products; rather, they provide illusion and imagery. The same Public Relations firms that seek to undermine markets by ensuring that uninformed consumers will make irrational choices (contrary to abstract economic theories) seek to undermine democracy in the same way. And the managers are well aware of all of this. Leading figures in the industry have exulted in the business press that they have been marketing candidates like commodities ever since Reagan, and this is their greatest success yet, which they predict will provide a model for corporate executives and the marketing industry in the future."

Do you not understand the concept of "free will". Companies can do any old kind of marketing. What it boils down to is free will. If consumers want it, they'll buy it. If it's stupid, that's THEIR choice.

Anyone can sell something that people want. The true test is to sell something to someone that they don't yet realize that they want.

As the saying goes, a great salesman could sell ice to an Eskimo.

yea but it undermines the basis of what markets are supposed to be based on: well informed citizens making rational decisions.

and honestly it sounds like its part of the matrix where were told a lie to keep us under control. i dont want to live in a society where the population is being lied to and manipulated.

This society of which you speak doesn't exist except maybe in Shangri la. I asked you your age before because you have a naive, almost fairy tale-like view of the world. I feel sorry for you when reality hits you in the face. I don't think you'll be able to handle it. Your parents did not prepare you well.

It also exists in the mythical land where he has a job waiting for him and he will get paid without even needing to work. If he can ever force himself to leave his parents basement.

Unlike you (how you talk anyway). Many of us have had experiences contrary to what you post.

i dont give that out specifically on teh net. i have no illusions about the crimes of my country, or your country, or the viciousness of crony capitalism which adults endure and have not yet overcome.

I wasn't asking specifically. I was just trying to figure out your age range, because that says a lot about one's ideologies.

Here we go again @DriveInDriveOut..... Remember, big boy words. That's how adults have a disagreement. First you disagree, then state your case. You can do it.
