Misload procedure

I've been asked to deliver a misload on my way home in my personal car.. because they knew I lived in that town. They paid me for the "estimated" time it would take me......

That must be shady right... ? W/e...

Who runs misloads at your center? Talked to someone at another center and he said they hand them out as drivers come in. At our center they are picking and choosing from the bottom part of seniority list. What is contractually correct?
Management runs them on the way home here.

I've done that, no biggie. But you gotta wonder if there's ever a problem with the pkg how it would play out.

Or.....if you were to be involved in an accident. I get it,it's hard not to do something so simple. By the company keeping you on the clock so to speak, it could go south if someone got sued.
