OK. 1 that I'm hearing about from a secondhand source and a few that I've been involved with who had completely different experiences. I guess your friend went about it the wrong way.

Also, we're not talking a small customer here. If they ship as many with Ground as they did before their switch from Express, that was at least 1000 fedex boxes and packs per day.
