movie review

Where next? Venice
Just watched Ocean's 13. Well, the first thirty minutes anyhow. I pulled the plug on my headset on the plane... The rest just wasn't even worth watching. What a useless, dumb movie.

Rating... :poop:

Rest of the flight... :sleep1:

The wife and I went and saw "Heart break kid" with Ben Stiller. A remake or update of the 1972, "Heart break kid". The movie was just OK. It wasn't good enough to see twice. One particular phrase that I thought was hilarous was when they referred to pot as being the "Devils Lettuce". LMAO That's the first I've heard it used like that. Also when they are driving to their honeymoon destination she sings every song on the radio. Knows them by heart. Stiller is going insane. Its a long drive. LOL

Movie: Cloverfield

Save your money and don't ever see this movie, or take someone that you hate. The constant camera motion me feel sea sick and gave Tony a headache. We just got home from the theater and I still feel kind of queasy...

Gosh, don`t be such a girl.:happy2: I went with my 13yr daughter the monster movie freak and we rate it a 3 1/2. i had read about the shaky screen so we sat farther back.

Now for my recomendation I give "JUNO" a 4 1/2. Funny smart,Ellen Page is a great actress for someone who`s 20. i also recomend one of her earlier films "Hardcandy".
We saw the movie with our 21 year old daughter and her boyfriend.

It could have been the boyfriend...

Tonight we went to see I am Legend. I loved it!

Super scary flesh eating zombies, high quality hd cinematography and a loveable dog. What more could you want?

I just saw "No Country for Old Men". Great movie, starring one of my favorite actors Tommy Lee Jones.

PS.

Don't bring the kids. You'll see why.......

We watched "Vantage Point" last night. I think it was a smartly made movie.....not the same old thing like so many movies today.

It stars Dennis Quaid who I think is pretty good looking, but he looks bad in this movie. It's like they forgot the make-up. Anyway, I like the concept and found it to be quick moving and interesting. You have to pay attention so you don't mix up the characters.

We just watched it this weekend. Unfortunately I fell asleep so now I have to watch it again. Bummer! I think Will Smith is one of the best actors of this day. He is so versatile.

Not yet. I want to see the new Hellboy also. Have you seen 3:10 to Yuma? Great movie. The last 'Bourne' was great also. I think it might even be the best of the Bourne series. There are a bunch of new movies out that I want to see. New being in the last year.

I saw Iron Man. I rarely watch anything in the action adventure area and I must admit I throughly enjoyed it. Good story line to set off all the crazy CGI stuff. Sit through the credits for the sneak peak at the end.

Saw 'Harry Potter' and 'Ratatoille' at the drive in last night.

They still have drive-inn's ???? I remember going to the drive in with my girlfriend with six of my buddies hiding in the trunk. I remember asking the attendant for two tickets and trying not to laugh at the same time!

Satellite --- Never saw the movie. I would have though if they would of substituted Heath Ledger with Jessica Alba and Jake Gillagagagag (?) with Beyonce'. Just a thought. I would of seen it a dozen times.

Its too bad they have disappeared for the most part. They were a big part of the social scene back when I was in High School. Ball game and keg parties Friday night, concerts and parties Saturday night, and the Drive-In on Sunday. We used to take some chairs and sit out in front of our cars or maybe lay on the hood and windshield to watch some B-movie flick. Some people would bring a little BBQ grill and cook out. And there was nothing like fogging up the car windows with your date! Come to think of it, I don't actually remember much about the actual movies at all.

The best part was sneaking people in the trunk to a Drive In movie.
We really thought we were getting away with something.
A warm summer night and warm summer night kisses.
Man those were the days and we thought they would never end.

Just got back from 'Quantum of Solace', the new James Bond movie.

I thought it was great! Daniel Craigs James Bond is not like James Bonds of the past. This one is not (yet) suave and sophisticated. He only has sex with one woman in this movie. It starts immediately where 'Casino Royale' ended, and it is a high action film.

I read one review where Roger Moore (my least best Bond) was whining about how he had been a lover and this new Bond was a killer. Maybe he's right, but for now I like it!

Oh boy! Coming in May 2009! I can't wait!!!

A new STAR TREK! Yes, I am a Trekker.

The trailer looks awesome. It occurs when Kirk and Spock were young, perhaps at the Academy.

Website does not have the new trailer yet, says two more days.
