Need ODC help, please....

I work at a hub in Texas with some serious ODC issues that need to be resolved.

1.) The ODC AUDITOR is not a bid position.

2.) There's 2 centers in the hub.

3.) There's a very high turnover so the hub is constantly under staffed.

Question..... are the ODC AUDITOR'S required to do hub work?

If not, why are they being required to help the hub before leaving? The reason that is given by PT supervisors is, "this hub is a local sort and everyone must help until the work is done".

This is not a serious ODC issue, a serious ODC issue would be forwarding internationals without auditing them.

Go ahead and be vocal about not wanting the extra hours but if they instruct you to help, work as instructed.

I recently bid a 22.3 job that was 4 hours in the cage (hub) and 4 hours in the tower (ODC). I self-disqualified after 4 days as I could not get used to the shift and the overall atmosphere in the hub.

If there is not enough ODC work you can be forced to work in the hub.
