You say a lot of inaccurate and idiotic things on here that you get made fun of for, but really? You are trying to sell this? You are allowed to "keep driving" until you are found guilty in court? There aren't tow companies that get business from picking up DWI vehicles in your state?

In the NW district I believe it is a zero tolerence policy. You are unemployed. In Wa state your license is suspended therefore you cannot drive. No if's and's or but's.

Most of the time (probably all), your license is suspended immediately !!!

The poster did the right thing by telling upper management his situation. Hiding the fact you are under trial for DWI would not be looked upon kindly by anyone's boss.

This guy is obviously still employed (driver helper), and will probably be offered rehabilitation up to and including his reinstatement as a driver.

You are not the first or last to get a DUI/DWI so hopefully you use it as a life lesson. Hopefully, they can get you work inside the building until you qualify to wear the browns again.

I think we are talking apples/oranges. If found guilty of DWI, you lose your license immediately. Period.

I'm talking about the time between when stopped for DWI, and the court date when you are proven guilty. Here, you can drive during that time.

Plus you spend the next 24 hrs in jail and may get up to 10 days. You get an initial hearing with-in that 24 hr period (our jail and courts are in the same complex). Of course this does not include weekends.

2. You went out of your way to tell me that I am "better at this forum thing than you"

3. I have seen what happens when people decide to "man up" like you and tell someone who they really are.
4. If I wanted to prove my point and really was "compelled to be such an [expletive]............... Which I'm not............. your name, phone number, and address would be all over 20 forums right now.

You would then say "who cares, you are a 14yo that can't back **** up". Then I would say "OK, let's go that route".

Then you would receive harassing phones calls from strangers for NO REASON WHATSOEVER. Eventually, someone would find out your wife's name. They would find out where she works. You would get calls at UPS. She would get calls at her work. People would find the closest police station to your house. They would make a call there and give a "tip" that you have child porno on your computer. Your kids would have to wonder why the cops came to your house.

You would then respond one of three ways. I won't go into two of them because I think you are "smart" enough to pick this one.

You would inform authorities of what happened. They would say OK. Maybe they would care enough to find me, maybe not. That's irrelevant. Why? I wouldn't do a damn thing to you. Other anonymous people that felt "compelled to be such [expletive]s" would do everything, regardless of whenther I asked for it to be stopped ot not. These would actually be the 14yos with nothing to do. These would be the people "compelled to be such [expletive]s". As you fought back, things would get worse. The forums would grow with evidence of your fight.

This, BBAG, is why I deleted the message you sent me with you name, address, and telephone number. This is why I told you it's not cool. If you used someone else's info that would screw them over for NO REASON. If you used your info you would make problems for yourself for NO REASON.

If your next rebuttal is "You can't do anything. You don't have the balls. The police would arrest you. You would go to jail. The cops would find all of you. Phone calls mean nothing. This is if your BAC is .08 or better. BTW, that number applies to regular drivers licences. If you have a CDL the BAC level is .04.

Well then I apologize - I am simply going from what I experienced in PA & NJ, and assumed it was similar elsewhere. I should not have assumed it was similar everywhere.
