New Driver

Hi everyone,

I got hired as a seasonal driver and successfully finished my training a week ago, but I'm still waiting for someone to call me and tell me to start working. can anyone tell me how long do this process usually takes?

I was also told by someone in the building I'll be working at, that they do not hire seasonal drivers because the union won't let them, all drivers are hired for permanent positions. Hope someone can confirm this.

If HR told you that you were hired as a seasonal it means that you were hired as a seasonal.

You can expect to start working on or around Thanksgiving week.

He is a supervisor, he told me that they were adding 15 routes permanently + some drivers quite + a couple more were retiring. You think I have some hope?

I did, and I made it. It was really hard though
