New(er) Vehicles - No Station ID

Has anyone else noticed that newer trucks no longer have the station ID next to the vehicle number? Anyone know why? Maybe this is only happening in my area.

Asset allotment... easier to transfer a vehicle from station to station and not having to get the vinyl redone... plus, other than us... who cares what station the vehicle is from?

We have a van at our station that has the station ID from a station in another part of town. At some point, the van got transferred over to us, but they didn't bother changing the ID stickers.

I wish they hadn't stopped putting the ramp identifiers on the CTV tractors. There are times when it's helpful to know where another truck is from.

The IDs remain on the trailers, but due to the nature of ramp ops, it's not unusual for a tractor to be pulling a trailer that belongs to another location.

We have a 700 from another state, most don't have them anymore for reasons stated above.
Lots of vehicles get shuffled around these days.
