FYI: On January 1st UPS is changing its privacy policy. Its not being publicized much because the policy is moving in the direction of less privacy. Unbeknownst to most, UPS has a very consumer friendly privacy policy compared to the rest of the web. Starting in January 1st, they will expand their breadth of data collected and how they use it. I assume with the $14M+ MyChoice project; there will be lots of consumer information to be collected. We are probably now just on par with the rest... no worse no better... but I liked it more when we were better.

    Other noteworthy Privacy Policies . . .

The Control Voice: "There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We can reduce the focus to a soft blur, or sharpen it to crystal clarity. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to . . . The Outer Limits."

The Borg Collective: "We are the Borg. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile."
