New Training Designed To Oppress

UPS's new training will leave no one out. Their plan is to ride with everyone. It use to be their practice to make an example out of a few to scare the others. The New Training will be to make examples out of everyone. So if you are one of the guys who think "they know betterthan to mess with me." Get Ready. ...you're gonna run more stops per hour or you will have progressive discipline , it's that simple in the training to the supervisors. Here in Central States Region, File a grievance if you want, they will hear your grievance in a year, until then , your progressive discipline keeps piling on to make you look to the panel as if you're a problem employee.
More stops per hour results in me hitting them where it hurts........ in their pocket books via 9.5 penalty pay.

Just look at the garbage quality people being promoted, and the quality of people leaving. The new kids in these puffed up supervisor roles don't even have a HS diploma now. Of course the "it's a warehouse job" mantra applies, but the lack of professionalism and intelligence in the trenches is at an all-time low, for sure. That applies for on-car supervisors and so on. Something's got to give.

Nah, you haven't missed anything frigid, if you haven't recieved your training you will. See they don't let the supervisors in on anything anymore until you need to know. I'm sure you are aware that unless you are a division manager or higher, you no longer are considered a partner. You are just as low as us hourly workers, only you don't have a union, your stock is just held captive 5 years at a time to insure you work as directed and not go anywhere.

In the old days, we were told by the Union to just do your job and follow the Methods and they can't do anything to you. Well that's not the case anymore. The Company is doing what they want. And we are hearing nothing but crickets from the Union side. We haven't seen a driver get back pay for being fired unjustly since 2007.
Thanks H....

Our Center manager says the the company could care less about 9/5 pay outs. It's cheaper to pay you if they end up paying at all, than to put an extra driver on the road. In the new training for Supervisors, the progressive discipline you will receive when they ride with you. Will be exchanged for you dropping your 9/5 or taking half.

Educating every one to their new extreme discipline tatics is the Key to fighting it. The Company No longer fears the Union in the Central States Pension fund region since UPS agreed to also make the Buisness Agents pensions whole as well. So we know a deal was made, that just means we need to clear the slates and start new. Get rid of the special Agreements and the Union leaders that made them.

Maybe if you guys didn't spit on union employees who went into management, more long time drivers would do it. Instead, you get stuck with people like me.
