We are asking anybody who works in the western pa. region to vote no on the new supplemental agreement. It does not address any major issue that we are trying to get. The minor changes are not enough. UPS management will strong arm you into voting yes, we are asking you to hold your ground and vote no. This will be your best chance to bring change to west Pa..

What are these major issues? You are asking for a big commitment without explaining why.

The issues are honoring seniority, using our hire date for bidding, vacation picking rather than our full time date. This also means getting credit for all the part time years for our pension fund. UPS won't even tell what your part time pension is worth. Full time hours and part time credit in our pension is not good enough. We want proper credit for starting in the warehouse. Also, we work to long of a day and are asking for more personal time off. Time and 1/2 for any denied personal day request, this is a real problem for some centers.

How do these demands compare with the contract agreements in the rest of the country?
